For first time visitors to our hotel, we know you’ll have lots of questions to ask and that’s ok! Below you’ll find a list of our most frequently asked questions and queries that we have answered to the best of our ability. You are always very welcome to contact us ahead of your stay should you have further queries.
Rooms 1,2,3 and 4 are on the 1st floor. Rooms 5,6,7 and 8 are on the 2nd floor. Rooms 9,10. 11, 12 are on the 3rd floor. Rooms 14 and 15 are on the 4th floor. Rooms 16 and 17 on the Ground floor. Rooms 18 and 19 are on the Lower Ground floor.
Our Hotel is a little of oasis of calm and luxury for our guests, a relaxing getaway. We do not have a bar/restaurant onsite but are happy to recommend several local places nearby.
We do hope you will come and stay with us but if you need to cancel, then you can do so at any time up to 14 days before your arrival date at no cost.
Our check in is at 15.30 and check out is at 10.30am. An early check in from 13.00 and late check out up to 12pm are available for a fee of £20.00
Children of any age are welcome. Infants under the age of 3 years – for parents to provide their cots and bedding.
If you or any guest staying in a room booked under your name causes damage to hotel property or lose a hotel key then these charges will be applied to your debit / credit card.
We have a fridge with lots of continental treats, bottled water, orange juice, cereal, breakfast bars and fruits to make your stay enjoyable. £2.50 per person per night.

We want all of our guests to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay at LilyRose Hotel and with that in mind, we reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest who behaves in an inappropriate manner. This extends to a guest or guests being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, abusive behaviour towards hotel staff or other guests, aggression, or unacceptable dress. For the safety of all of those staying with us we may ask guests behaving in this manner to leave the hotel if a disturbance is caused. Should we reject a guest on these grounds refunds will not be given.
Rooms are generally safe just follow normal safety procedures when out of rooms.
LilyRose Hotel is not liable for the loss or damage of any guest property during their stay caused by the misconduct or negligence or a guest or an act of GOD, the establishment is not responsible for guest belongings, liable or responsible for any damage to guest vehicles whilst staying with us.
LilyRose Hotel is walking distance from Whitby Town Centre beach, shops and restaurants. Every year from the first of November until the end of February, there is free parking’s along the pay and display machines.
From first of March until the end of October we sell 2-day scratch cards, that allow our guests to park on street parking spaces anywhere in Whitby at Zone-W, for just £2. You can pre-pay for the parking when making a booking on our website.
We are about 9 minutes walk to the train station and about 5 minutes leisurely walk to the Whitby town centre.
Although we love pets, for health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed.

Our official website is the only booking platform where best rates are guaranteed. Should you find that your preferred dates are not available through our online system, please phone the hotel to access real-time availability. We accept all major debit and credit cards.
Smoking is prohibited in the property. A £125 fine will apply to anyone caught smoking on the premises.
There is no lift at the moment.
