It is a lovely comfortable hotel. The rooms are clean and contain everything you might need. The only downside I had and this is totally personal to me is the stairs. Clean, great location and reasonable price
This review is on behalf of my mum who is over 70. Travelling solo she felt very safe, the room was comfortable, spotless and had great touches such as coffee, tea, toiletries etc. The location was quiet and excellent and the owners were quick to help her with access. She would highly recommend the stay and the room was also very reasonable for the time of year being July high season and popular location. Enjoyed the town of Whitby plenty to do in the 4 days we stayed

Good overall. I stayed here for 3 nights (£328 in total, which I thought was a bit too expensive for the value). Clean room & friendly staff. Room was quite spacious, which meant it was cold. Good thing the heating was on otherwise the room would have been freezing as the building is quite old and it reached below 10 at night, even though it's July! I expected this so I brought my winter pyjamas & slippers (it's cold to step on bare floor; there are no carpets). I would recommend for a 1 night stay or 2 maximum.
