Twice a year, Whitby plays host to a ‘Whitby Goth Festival’ and welcomes Goths (and non -Goths) from all around the UK and beyond to experience a festival like no other where music, art and all things ‘Gothic’ are celebrated. This twice-yearly event takes place in April and October with local venues (including the Pavilion) hosting arts and crafts stalls, music, and entertainment events and so much more.

Oct 27th – Oct 29th, 2023, is when the next Whitby Goth Weekend takes place, and we are so excited to welcome guests to our hotel looking to indulge their inner and outer ‘Goth’ with like-minded people. Although we are fully booked at time of writing, we are happy to take your call, should you wish to join our waitlist or indeed check in a few days before or after the event, when the magic of the ‘Gothic Festival’ lingers on.
